My quest of achieving motherhood and have the most overwhelming experience in life was accomplished here, in the Pulse Womens’ Hospital. I was dreaming, Dr Banker led me successfully into it. and now I have my angel in my hands.
When we set out on the treatment trail with Dr Banker, we were in the 8th year of our marriage. Things were difficult as we are based in Gulf and had to undergo treatment mostly on my own with out the presence of my spouse. The failure of 3 IVFs didn’t deter my spirits which is why I went on to have two more tries which were successful, 4th one was FET (frozen embryo transfer) but unfortunately I miscarried in the 7th week. I had got pregnant, this reason was enough for me to give another try. 5th time was lucky for me and our angel, Anay was born on 17th February 2009.
Lying partially unconscious on that OT bed, Dr Banker’s golden words still ringing in my ears, ‘Archana, its healthy boy, Congrats!!!’ I could hear Dr Nimisha and others talking how I went on trying again and again, and now the day arrived when I was delivering my baby. They perhaps know, the immense confidence that Dr Banker instills in the patient’s mind is tremendous, its not made up, not artificial but a genuine approach.
I would like to mention about the staff of the hospital as well. In the alien city of Ahmedabad, they were my friends for two years who could understand my pain of failure and happiness of being successful at every juncture of the the treatment. The sheer journey compels me to go for my second child, as my two sleeping beauties are in the lab of Dr Banker.
